The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is proud to spotlight the work between two of our members—TD Bank and the Boston Celtics, who recently teamed up to kick off the season with a powerful commitment to local businesses. Together, they partnered with three community favorites: Cacao in the South End, Sweeties in Roslindale, and The Frugal Bookstore in Roxbury. Two of these businesses are City of Boston Space Grantee recipients.
The collaboration created unforgettable experiences by giving away chocolates at Cacao, serving sweet treats at Sweeties, and purchasing books for kids at The Frugal Bookstore. These moments brought joy to the community while highlighting the vital role small businesses play in Boston’s economic fabric.
As we head into the holidays, TD Bank’s example is a reminder to all of us: be intentional and choose to engage with and support the businesses that make Boston thrive. Whether it is shopping local, partnering with diverse‑owned vendors, or finding new ways to spotlight their work, these investments strengthen our economy and build a more inclusive future for Greater Boston.
